Appetite Suppressants - September 14th, 2009

The USA reports that over 65% of Americans are overweight.    That explains why there are so many ads and commercials out there that are garnered towards weight loss.  There are now numerous ways to lose weight.  Instead of the age-old “diet and exercise,” there are now surgeries, pills, liquids, treatments and more that you can use to help you lose the pounds.

One such idea is called an appetite suppressant.  An appetite suppressant is just what it sounds like, it suppresses your appetite.  In pill or liquid form, most are taken several times a day, before a meal and should nix your hunger pains and make your feel full faster.  In 2007 after a really terrible relapse with my lupus, I was weighing close to 300lbs.  I’m happy to report in 2009 I have lost over a hundred pounds and I think I tried every type of weight loss product there is.

One thing I will recommend is appetite suppressants.  I went to my local vitamin store and asked the lady working there what she recommended and she gave me some really good ideas.  I tried several products and I founds that the more natural products worked faster and longer.    Of course, it only works if you work it and that means follow the directions.  Some tell you to drink it with a full glass of water, some tell you other things and they truly will work if you use them correctly.  So if you are like me, and hate to exercise but want to lose weight, stop by your local GNC or Vitamin Shoppe and speak to a nutrition expert.    It sure beats going to Wal-Mart and just picking something.
